An amazing journey for adults & kids, this tour takes us to places that tell the glorious battles of Greece since the ancient times till WWII.
In the last 3.500 years Greeks had no more than 300 years of peace, alltogether! This unusual tour, suitable for adults and kids alike, takes us in places that speak of the glorious battles of Greece since the ancient times till WWII.
Starting from the Phaleron Maritime (open air) Museum, where we will see an actual replica of the ancient Trireme, the famous ship that established the maritime empire of Athens. Right next to it is the (visitable) battleship “Averof” a legend of WWI.
Then we head to the Athens War Museum to get an overview of the weapons used during the last 30 centuries you will hear (and see) an overview of the most important battles of Greece, plus the story of the great rise and tragic fall of ancient Athens!
The Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, will amaze both kids and adults with its interactive artifacts!
Last but not least, we may visit (optional, on specific dates) the Hellenic Air Force Museum (with 40+ airplanes).
